Banks win the first round of court battle about unfair bank charges - 9th Oct 2008
In the latest development on unfair bank charges, banks have won a judgement on reclaiming of bank charges under common law. Mr. Justice Andrew Smith ruled that most customers would not be able to use common law to challenge bank charges levied mostly between 2001 and 2007.However this does not apply to all the banks.
